RTI's patented cameras have been refined over two decades to capture and stream live 360° video. Originally developed by RemoteReality, a pioneer of panoramic optical technology, the cameras have evolved from systems used by the US military to provide “continuous situational awareness” for manned and unmanned vehicles, surface ships, and submarines.
Unlike ubiquitous multi-camera systems, RTI’s cameras output live 360º video free of optical distortion and “seams" from stitching separate frames together. The video combines ultra-high resolutions (up to nine megapixels) with high frame rates (up to 60 FPS), making it ideal for news reporting, entertainment, and sports. With military DNA, our cameras are rugged, lightweight, portable, and even wearable.
RTI's proprietary end-to-end pipeline allows 360º video to be streamed in real time to virtually any connected device, including smartphones, tablets, PCs, smart TVs, and VR headsets. Our interactive apps give viewers unprecedented ability to pan, tilt, and zoom within live video, as if they are experiencing the action first hand.
RTI provides end-to-end solutions for delivering the world’s highest-quality, live 360º video for news reporting, entertainment, and sports.
